DESCRIPTION:Uno degli obiettivi della 4 edizione del San Raffaele OCT&RETINA Forum è quello di integrare nella clinica le nuove tecnologie disponibili\, non solo per fini di ricerca\, ma soprattutto perché decisive in termini diagnostici e terapeutici in ambito di retina. La voce dei protagonisti non mancherà. I principali retinologi di fama internazionale saranno presenti il 13 e 14 aprile 2018 a Milano\, per confrontarsi su temi che ormai coinvolgono tutti gli oftalmologi\, quali OCT\, OCTA ed ultra-widefield imaging\, ma anche su trial clinici\, nuovi farmaci e nuovi trattamenti laser disponibili.\nIl meeting sarà sviluppato con relazioni d’imaging e con approfondimenti di terapia. Ci sarà dunque spazio per gli aggiornamenti sui trattamenti delle maculopatie\, delle patologie vascolari e delle più importanti patologie retiniche. In particolare\, i risultati degli ultimi trial clinici saranno riportati direttamente da alcuni dei principali investigatori coinvolti nei centri di sperimentazione.\nAmpio spazio ci sarà non solo per retinologi conosciuti in tutto il mondo\, ma anche per giovani. Una sezione particolare darà loro l’opportunità di partecipare al congresso che già in passato aveva previsto una rapida presentazione di casi clinici\, spesso sotto forma di “clinical challenge”\, dove oculisti di grande esperienza si sono alternati a giovani specializzandi e tesisti di oftalmologia. Questa formula permette di portare virtualmente il paziente di fronte ad un panel di esperti di fama internazionale per un confronto sulle valutazioni diagnostiche e sulle terapie più appropriate.\nIn conclusione\, le novità per la quarta edizione del San Raffaele OCT&RETINA Forum saranno tante. L’obiettivo degli organizzatori è quello di rendere il congresso sempre più interattivo\, con la possibilità di provare di persona gli strumenti per l’imaging della retina con gli ultimi aggiornamenti. Un altro intento è quello di dare spazio ai giovani\, promuovendo momenti formativi e di aggregazione.
